How the links work

Vetiver & Vale is funded by affiliate commissions. When you click a "Check price" or "View on Amazon" button and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same as it would be without our link. Most of our buy links go to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program; the site's outbound links route through a /go redirect so a future retailer partnership is a one-line change with no rewrite of the page you are reading.

What commissions do — and do not — buy

They pay for the site. That is it. They do not buy a spot in a roundup, a higher position, or a friendlier verdict. Our rankings are set by our published scoring method before commercial considerations, and when the cheaper clone is the smarter buy than the designer original, we say so and link to the clone — even though it usually earns us less. We accept no sponsored placements and no free bottles in exchange for coverage; see the full editorial policy.

Prices and availability

Prices and stock are pulled live from the retailer and stamped with the date shown on each page. Fragrance prices move constantly, and stock comes and goes, so the figure you see may differ by the time you click — the retailer's price at checkout is always the one that counts. If our price data is more than 48 hours old, we hide the number rather than show you something stale.
